Spooks Painted Gun

Description

Spooks Painted Gun, aka “Maverick” is a good minded, well behaving APHA and AQHA stallion, with the character suited for an Amateur to ride and show him. He has a good conformation and at age 10 he past his PPE and radiographs with flying colors. He is a real all round horse. He has won money in the NRHA, shown successfully in the Ranch Riding and has lately a lot of success in Trail, Horsemanship, Western Riding and even Western Pleasure. This is best summarized by his medals in Open Western Versatility, almost reaching the Superior title within one year. His accomplishments include: APHA ROM Novice Am + Am Ranch Riding, Am Western Horsemanship, Green Ranch Riding, Green Trail, Green Western Pleasure, Green Western Riding, Western Versatility Pattern. He is even a Europaint European Championship in Green Western Riding!

Maverick is by Spooks Gotta Run, a full brother to Spooks Gotta Whiz. So reining enthusiasts can also improve their breeding.  Maverick has no “Gunner” bloodline, so can be crossed with mares carrying this in their pedigree. Maverick is Overo N/N! Mares should be GBED negative

Maverick has already proven himself as a Sire: HH Eyes On You has gold medals at the Europaint 2025 in Open and Amateur Ranch Horse Conformation and Junior Ranch Riding and Bronze in Novice Amateur Ranch Riding.
